Love Goes On Page 8
Kaden gave me an immediate stunned look. “Say you don’t mean it,” Kaden mouthed worriedly.
“I’m not because I do!”
“Sara, please don’t leave me.”
“Well, you should learn to respect me when I say not to keep saying something.”
“You’re getting mad over something that could be resolved so easily.”
“I’m already mad, so what’s the point!”
“You know what! Go ahead and leave. I don’t care because it’s your loss,” Kaden uttered viciously.
I faked a laugh. “You men all think alike when a woman leaves, it’s our loss. But you know what? It’s not our loss it’s yours!”
“Where would you get that idea from?”
I gave Kaden a Shut the Fuck up Look and crossed my arms waiting to get to the mansion, so I could pack my belongings.
When we reached the mansion, I jumped out of the truck and moved rapidly to the bedroom with Kaden at my heels.
“Sara, please. I’m sorry,” Kaden cried with tears running down his checks.
“No, Kaden, leave me alone!” I said ferociously.
He stopped following me. I packed some clothes and necessary belongings. Then I called my mom.
“Hello?” Mom answered.
“Mom, can you come pick me up please?” I asked with anticipation.
“Sure, what’s the matter?” Mom answered worriedly
“I’ll be waiting outside for you.” I hung up; I said good-bye to Sadie and Coco. Then I lugged my suitcase out to the parking lot. I didn’t see Kaden anywhere, but I knew he was watching me. I didn’t want to do this, and I can still feel tears running down my checks.
“Give me back my ring,” Kaden said as I looked to my right stunned to see him holding out his hand to me. I roughly took the ring off and slammed it into his hand. “I hope you know what you’re doing?”
“Oh, I do. Thank you very much!” I screamed angrily, as well as sadly.
“I know you still love me, and I’ll be here waiting for you. Just you remember that I love you, Sara!”
He slowly walked away from me. A few minutes later my mom pulled into the driveway.
I loaded my suitcases into her car, and we drove to my parent’s house.
“Sara, are you sure you want to leave him?” Mom questioned me.
“No. I’m not!” I said as Mom pulled off on the side of the road.
“What happened?”
After I told my mom the major events, she turned her car around and headed back to the mansion. When we reached the driveway, I saw Kaden running out of the mansion with his eyes filled with hope that it was me coming back.
“Oh, Mom, how could I be so nasty to him?” I wept with tears falling down my cheeks.
Mom stopped the car. “I don’t know, but go tell him why.”
I got out of the car. I rushed over to Kaden with red eyes and wet cheeks. We grabbed each other into a big bear hug. Kaden lifted me off the ground, and I wrapped my legs around his waist.
“I’m so sorry, Kaden,” I sobbed.
“I’m sorry too! I’m so damn sorry!” We kissed as Kaden wiped my tears away. Then he put the ring back onto my finger. “I hope you never take this off for a third time.”
“I won’t. I was stupid for getting mad at you, so stupid!”
“It’s alright, Sara. It’s over with now.”
Kaden picked me up again as rain began to fall. I smiled and waved good-bye to my mom as she climbed into her car and drove away.

Shopping Trip
Today was January 22nd. I was really excited because Kaden was taking me to Burlington Coat Factory to purchase some beautiful dresses seeing that I didn’t have any in my closet, but one from a dance at school I’d went to a couple years back.
“When will I be wearing these extravagant dresses?” I asked Kaden as I searched the racks.
“Oh, for many things beyond what my memory can hold,” Kaden grinned as he suggested a dress to me and I shook my head in disapproval.
“You know I’m not one to wear dresses.”
“Oh, I know that by the looks of your closet only filled with jeans and t-shirts.”
“Hey, I’ll look just as good in jeans and a t-shirt as I would in a dress.”
“Why are you so against wearing dresses?”
“I just don’t feel comfortable in them.”
“Well, I think you’ll look damn sexy in a dress.”
I grinned shyly. “How about I try one of these babies on and show you how comparable dresses are to the clothes I wear now.”
“I don’t know if you want to do that!” He grinned as he followed me to the dressing room.
“Why not?”
“Let’s just say you won’t be wearing it long.” He winked.
I giggled as I headed into a dressing room. When I walked out I posed in a short skin tight fire red tube top dress. I put my hand to my head and brought it down my body as I swayed sexily from side to side.
Kaden whistled. “You’re looking mighty fine, Sara, mighty fine. You’ll definitely have to get that dress.
Every dress I liked I posed in for Kaden to get a final approval, but that was hard considering he liked every single one I tried on. So I ended up picking out the fire red dress, the second dress I picked out was made as if it was two separate pieces. The top part was white with gray strips and it looked like a tank top. It also had a gray two layer ruffle at the bottom. The length of this dress stopped before my knees.
The second dress was a spaghetti strap dress. It was colorful with flowers all over it. It stopped before my knees. The third dress was also a spaghetti strap dress. It had big green and brown flowers all over it. The length of this dress stopped before my knees.
The fourth dress was a V-neck dress that was white with big red flowers all over. The base of the dress was black. The length of this dress stopped right before my knees.
The last dress was a spaghetti strap dress. It was blue with a diamond hole under the breast, and it flowed all the way to the floor.
When we arrived at the mansion I hung up my dresses then Kaden and I took Sadie and Coco outside to play. “Do you like all of your dresses?” Kaden asked me.
“Yes, I do. They’re really pretty!” I exclaimed.
“They all looked great on you.”
“Would you like to go out to dinner and a movie Sunday?”
“Sounds like a date.”
“What movie should we see?”
“JONAH HEX seems to be a good movie.”
“I saw the previews to that movie and it looked awesome!”
The following morning I awoke hearing rain pouring down. I made my way to the window as Kaden came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
“Days like these are so boring and make me want to stay in bed,” I complained.
“Today will not be boring. We’ll be going out later today,” Kaden replied as he turned me around and kissed me.
“I wish we could continue living in Coopersville. I don’t want to move to Rome.” I complained as we sat on the bed.
“I’m sorry you don’t want to move to Rome, but you don’t have a choice once we’re married.”
“Could we at least get our own home while we’re living in Coopersville? I enjoy living with Heather, but I’d rather have our own home.”
“I’ll begin searching for a home.”
“Why can’t I help?”
“I want to surprise you.”
“Can I trust you to pick the right home? I don’t want a hunk of junk now.”
He chuckled as I sat on his lap. “I promise the home I pick you will fall in love with.”
“That might not be a
good idea considering I don’t already want to leave my home town. Having a home I love will make it harder.”
“You’ll be alright.” Kaden started horsing around with me on the bed.
“Kaden, get off of me.” I laughed as I pushed him not realizing we were near the edge of the bed so Kaden fell off the bed.
We laughed hysterically. When we caught our breath I helped Kaden up.
“You’ve got some muscles, Baby,” Kaden joked.
The place we choose for dinner was Olive Garden. As we were eating Kaden took my hand in his.
“I’ve already been looking for a home for us for a couple months now,” Kaden blurted.
I smiled. “You are something else.”
“I was trying to surprise you, but that was blown out the window.”
“Have you already seen the house?”
“I was going to set up a date to see it soon. I guess you want to come too?”
“Of course I do I know about it now.”
He chuckled. “The pictures I saw of the house were amazing.”
“I can’t wait to move into this house.”
“Wait a minute now. We have to check the house out first; make sure this is the home for us and make sure the house is in good condition.”
“That’s going to take too long.”
He chuckled. “It won’t take as long as you think. Don’t be in a rush to move out.”
“I don’t mean to be, but I’m ready for us to be on our own.”
“I know. I’m ready too.”
We kissed tenderly.

Home Ideas
The next few weeks went by fast. Today is February 14th. School is going well for me! I’m still passing with all A’s! I miss Susie still. I hope she will visit me soon. Riley is growing faster than my eyes can keep up. She is almost 11 months old! She is crawling everywhere and pulling herself up. She even stands without holding onto things; but when she lets go, she falls on her bottom. She is always talking gibberish which is very cute.
She can say mama, Dada, Sis, Cat, Dog and Hi. Every time someone goes to my mom’s house. Riley will say hi and smile. She’s really cute when she smiles! I’m excited to watch her this summer; she will be so much fun to have around! Riley will also give
Kaden and I experience with a child before we have our own. My mom and dad are doing well too. I visit them as often as I can.
“Snap out of Sara Land. We’re here.”
I looked out the truck window realizing we were at school. “I’ll see you later. Don’t have too much fun without me today. I kissed Kaden; then I got out of the truck and shut his door.
“Oh, you know I’ll be having a rocking party, but I’ll save you a slice of cake.” He smiled.
“I knew it.” I joked.
“I love you, Sara.”
“I love you too, Kaden.” I backed away from the truck and watched Kaden drive away.
Then I strolled to homeroom.
When school ended I started to walk outside but before I opened the door, someone ran by me and knocked me over. I stood up quickly and saw Lucy laughing at me. I grew angry as I threw my book bag down and chased her down. I caught her by her arm and threw her to the ground.
I grabbed her hair from the back of her head and gripped it as tightly as I could as I got into her face looking deeply into her eyes. “Don’t you EVER do that again unless you want your face ripped off!” I screamed.
“You’re a worthless bitch!” Lucy yelled.
“I’m a bitch just because I’m sticking up for myself?”
“No, you’re a bitch for pulling hair!”
With that said I punched her in her face. But she didn’t fight back. She just laid there with her hand over her mouth and nose where I punched her. When she moved her hand I saw blood draining from her nose.
“Oh, damn!” I shrieked as I ran back, grabbed my book bag and raced to Kaden’s truck. “Go!” I yelled at Kaden.
He sped out of the parking lot as fast as he could. When we were down the road a little ways I started to freak out.
“What happened back there?” Kaden quizzed.
“I punched Lucy in the face and made her bleed,” I replied.
“Sara! I hope she doesn’t tell or anyone else that was watching.”
“I don’t feel bad for punching her. I feel bad for making her bleed.”
“You should apologize.”
“That’ll make me look stupid.”
“What are you going to do if you get expelled? Your Dad will be so mad!”
“Lets just hope I don’t have to worry about that.”
“Why did you hit her?” Kaden questioned me.
“She knocked me to the floor.”
“That didn’t give you the right to punch her and make her bleed.”
“Are you on her side now after the stunt she pulled when we were going to the beach?”
“No, Sara. She just knocked you down. You could have done the same to her.”
“I wasn’t thinking. I was letting my anger get the best of me.”
“You both were wrong. She was wrong for starting the fight and you were wrong for punching her. You could have just told a teacher what Lucy did and they would have punished her.”
“I was not about to go tell on her. Everyone would make fun of me.”
“Maybe they would have, but it would have made you look like the bigger person in the end.”
“Well it’s over with now. I can’t change what I did.”
“While you were at school today I searched for more houses. I printed out pictures if you want to see them?”
“I thought you found a home?”
“I did, but I wanted to have a back-up if the one I chose falls through.”
“I’m sure the first house is fine.”
“Why are you stuck on the first house and you don’t have any idea what the house looks like?”
“I just have that gut feeling,”
The rest of the week went well. Lucy never said a word about our fight; neither did anyone else that watched. Kaden said I got lucky and I’m glad luck was on my side. Word spread fast in school about the fight between Lucy and me; typical for any drama that would happen in any school. Whether you were there or not everyone knew.
I was shot many evil glances from Lucy’s new friends and Trevor, but I didn’t pay attention to them because I knew they wanted to get a reaction out of me so they could get me kicked out of school.
Today after school my mom and I are going to dinner at Golden Corral. She was due to arrive anytime now. As soon as I walked to the door, someone knocked. I opened the door seeing my mom standing there smiling.
“Hello, Mom!” I said excitedly and hugged her.
“Hello, Sara. How are you?” Mom asked as she hugged me back.
“I’m good, Mom. Come in.” I gestured as we slopped hugging.
Mom stepped inside. Kaden came downstairs as I shut the door.
“Hello, Ma’am,” Kaden greeted my mom.
“Hello,” Mom said as they embraced each other. When they let go mom looked at me.
“Well, are you ready to go?”
“I sure am!” I exclaimed excitedly.
“Okay.” Mom opened the door, and we moved toward her car.
“Hey!” I heard someone yell from behind me. I turned around and saw Kaden running toward me. “Where is my kiss and hug?”
“Oh, Kaden,” I kissed and hugged him.
When we arrived at Golden Corral we ordered our drinks then we got a plate full of food.
“What’s happening with you lately?” Mom questioned me as we sat down to eat.
“Kaden and I might be buying a home soon.”r />
“That’s great!” Mom responded excitedly.
“He’s already chosen a house, but he wants to have a back-up and I have a gut feeling that the first house he chose is the one.”
“Have you seen this house?”
“No.”
Mom giggled. “Then how do you know it’s the one?”
“I can’t explain it. I just have that feeling.”
Mom smiled. “I’m sure going to miss you when you move to Rome.”
“I wish I didn’t have to go. I don’t want to move out of Coopersville.”
“Well, you’ll have to sacrifice things for him, and he’ll have to do the same for you.”
“Yeah, I just don’t know, Mom. I love him, but I’m not ready to leave here.”
“When are you going to marry him?”
“After high school, but I’m not sure if I want to marry him after high school because I’ll be going to college once I graduate.”
“Well, college shouldn’t interfere with the marriage. You can make that decision when the time comes.”
I smiled at Mom. “Thank you, Mom, for your words of wisdom.”
“You’re welcome!”
We finished eating Mom dropped me off at the mansion. We hugged each other good-bye then I went inside. Kaden popped out of nowhere.
“How was dinner?” Kaden asked me.
“Good, I enjoy participating in activities with my mom,” I exclaimed excitedly.
Kaden took my hand and pulled me closer to him. “I missed you.”
“I missed you too.” He started kissing me; then he grabbed my butt.
I laughed. “What are you doing?”
“What? I like booty,” we laughed.
“I don’t know how we’re going to be able to stay apart sometimes.”
“Yeah, it’s going to be hard.”
Kaden kissed me. “Let’s take the pugs outside to play.” We stood in the yard watching them play.
“I think their puppies are going to be cute,” I said.
“Yeah, they will. I also look for odd colors on their offspring too.”
“I’m going to give Riley the cutest puppy.”
“That will be hard to do because I bet they’re all going to be cute and loveable.”
