“She’ll probably cry because Riley will be one year old, and that’s going to make my mom cry the blues.”
“Awe, we’ll have to get a photographer to take pictures for her.”
“Yes, we will. Why not ask the same photographer we had today?”
“If he did a super job taking pictures today, I’ll call him and set up the date.”
“Okay!”
Kaden looked at his cell phone. “Oh, it’s almost time for him to get here.”
“I’ll take the pugs to their room while you wait for the photographer.”
“Okay.”
Once I took the pugs to their room, I scurried downstairs to find Kaden looking through the photos.
He glanced up at me. “This gentleman did a great job! Look at these photos!”
Kaden handed me a picture of us holding hands and another one with him kissing my hand.
“This picture is cute!”
“It sure is!”
I gave the pictures back to Kaden. Once he placed them into the package, he handed them to me.
I took them. “Are you going to hire him?”
“I will.”
“When will that be?”
Kaden laughed heartily. “Soon, just don’t worry. I’ll get it done.”
“I’m sure you will.”
“Please run those pictures upstairs and then eat dinner. The cooks finished earlier than expected.”
After I placed the pictures on my chair in the dressing room, along with my birthday photos yet to be organized in an album, I went downstairs and ate dinner.
Once we had finished eating, Kaden and I got into bed.
“What a fun day!” Kaden exclaimed.
“It was.” But as soon as my head hit my pillow, I felt really tired.
Kaden giggled. “I feel the same way.”
“I love you, Sara. Sweet dreams!”
“I always have sweet dreams sleeping next to you.”
“Awe, Sara, I’m glad I bring you sweet dreams.”
Kaden fell asleep before me. As I fell asleep, I had a gigantic smile on my face.

Riley’s Party
It was the big day for Riley’s party. Mom was at the mansion setting up for the birthday party and decorating. Kaden and I picked up the cake. We were helping my mom decorate the mansion.
Riley and Dad were playing with the pugs outside while I helped my mom with the streamers. Kaden set up the piñata and some games.
“Are you ready for the party, Mom?” I asked.
“I am, but I’m so sad because Riley is growing too fast.” Mom responded sadly.
“I know, Mom, but you have memories.”
“That I do,” Mom smiled at me. We finished decorating with the last streamer. “Well, it’s time for us to get ready,” Mom stated emphatically.
“I’ll see you guys in a little bit then.” I responded.
“We’ll be back as soon as we can.”
“Okay, Mom.” I kissed my mom on her cheek; then she found Dad and Riley in the backyard and walked into the house to change their clothes.
Kaden brought the pugs inside and carried them to their room. Then we showered and dressed. I wanted to wear a dress that Kaden bought me when I become a princess.
However; I chose another dress that is white and black at the base with large red flowers under my breasts. It’s also a short V-neck dress. This was a very beautiful, party-approved dress. I wore plain white shoes with a flower on the top where my toes are. My hair is styled in big curls and pulled up into a ponytail.
I went into the bathroom and applied some light makeup. When I stepped out of the bathroom, Kaden was waiting for me by the bedroom door.
He was wearing a red polo shirt with Khaki shorts and white tennis shoes that resembled dress shoes.
“Wow, Kaden, you dress up nicely!” I whistled to him.
Kaden chuckled, “You do too, My Beauty!” He responded with a flirtatious smile.
“Are you ready for your sister’s party?”
I hooked my arm into Kaden’s. “I sure am, let’s go.”
When we went out the back door, we greeted my family and carried on conversations.
Kaden had been accepted by my family without second thoughts. He always got along with people, especially my dad. Every time they spoke, both of them laughed and joked around with each other.
I’m very glad to have Kaden accepted by my family. Soon it came time to sing Happy Birthday to Riley. She giggled as we sang and clapped her hands. Mom put her in her high chair and placed Riley’s own little cake in front of her. The photographer had already taken pictures of the cake, and now he was crouched down ready to snap photos of Riley messing in her cake.
Riley’s own little cake was white and pink with Hello, Kitty pictures on the top.
Riley didn’t want to touch the cake at first, but then she decided to smash it. It was so comical! By the time she finished destroying the cake, there was nothing left but mush.
After Mom bathed Riley in my bathroom, she redressed her and came back to the party.
We then had food and cake from the big cake singing Happy Birthday again to Riley.
This time she was fast asleep, so we actually whispered it.
We celebrated our party for younger kids backwards by allowing them to destroy their cake. Then we eat and have cake, as well as presents.
Riley’s second cake was large enough to serve two-hundred people. There were one-hundred and fifty people for Riley’s birthday. This cake was the same as the cake Riley had to herself. After everyone filed in the room and had a slice of cake, we sat around the gift table to watch Mom open
Riley’s presents while Dad sat next to Mom holding Riley.
The photographer was ready to take pictures of every gift. I was ready to write down everyone’s name and what gift they gave Riley, so my mom could send them thank you cards.
We did this also for the younger kids. It was a family tradition. We have never broken family traditions.
After Mom opened all the gifts, she thanked everyone by giving them a hug. Then she took Riley from my dad and sat in the chair next to me while Dad and Kaden loaded up the van and Kaden’s truck with the gifts.
“How did you like the party, Mom?” I asked spontaneously.
“I loved it, Sara! What a wonderful celebration!”
“I can’t wait to see the photos!”
“Me either.” Just then the photographer walked over to my mom.
“I’ll have the pictures ready tomorrow. There are about five-hundred photos to print, so if I start tonight, they will be ready around five tomorrow evening.”
“Okay, thank you.”
“Not a problem, ma’am.” He responded as he shook my mom’s hand and then stepped away.
“I’m feeling tired from today,” Mom said wearily.
“Me too, Mom, but it was a great time.”
“Yes, it was.”
My dad and Kaden finished loading up the vehicles and came back into the mansion.
Mom and Dad said goodbye to the guests; and as they left my parents requested the photographer snap a picture of the guests with them to show Riley when she was older.
Before my parents left Kaden and I took a picture with them. After Kaden and I unloaded the presents from his truck at my parents’ house we drove back to the mansion and showered.
We then let the pugs do their business outside and then we put them in their room. Kaden and I crawled into bed.
“That was a good party!” I exclaimed jubilantly.
“Yes, it was very nice, even the photographer remained to take photos of every guest.”
“Yes, there will be more than 500 photos now.”
<
br /> I chuckled, “Yes, that’s for sure. How does he process them so fast?”
“He’s proficient at what he does, and he enjoys taking photos of people.”
“Oh, I see.”
“Yeah, but lets get to sleep. It’s around twelve in the morning”
“Okay! Good night and I love you.”
“I love you. Good night.”
The next day Kaden and I received the pictures at five in the evening. The photographer dropped the photos off at the mansion because he forgot to ask my mom where she lived. So we’re having dinner at my mom’s tonight.
When we knocked on my parents’ door my mom swung it open and smiled. “Hello, Sara. Hello, Kaden!”
“Hello, Mom.” I gave her a hug and then stepped inside.
Kaden gave her a hug. “Hello, Alana.” He stepped inside so my mom could shut the door.
I walked over to my dad. He had Riley on his lap. “Hello, Dad.” I gave him a hug.
“Hello, Sara, nice to see you.”
I laughed. “We had just seen each other yesterday.”
Dad chuckled, “Well good to see you anyway.”
I moved out of the way, and Dad and Kaden shook hands.
“Hello, sir,” Kaden said.
“Hello, sir,” Dad responded.
We then sat down. Mom served us all; then she sat down to cat. Dad placed Riley in her playpen.
“So how were things going before the party?” Mom asked me.
“Things have been good, just living everyday up.”
Dad and Mom laughed, “What do you mean?” Dad questioned.
“Well, we only live once, so we try to live every day to its fullest.”
“Good point,” Kaden said.
“Well, here are the photos.” Kaden handed my mom the bag with the photos.
Mom took them and set them aside. “That’s great! Sara, would you like to come over tomorrow and help me put them in albums?”
“I would love too, Mom!”
Mom grinned at me with Riley laughing.
“Awe, she’s too cute.” I praised my sister.
“She is,” Kaden spoke as he waved at her, and she smiled and waved back.
“Awe, that was too adorable,” I stated.
“Don’t get any ideas on stealing my other daughter, Kaden,” my dad said jokingly.
“Oh I won’t,” Kaden laughed, “I do want children of my own but soon enough.” He grinned at me and winked.
“In time you two will have children. They’re a blessing but a great deal to take care of,”
Mom answered.
“I know, ma’am,” Kaden agreed heartily.
“We’ll be here to help,” Dad responded.
“Awe, Mom and Dad, you two have done enough for me in my life. So far, I can’t ask for anymore,” I responded.
“Hold on a minute,” Mom smiled, “We want to watch our grandchildren.”
“I know that. I’m just saying I can’t ask for all your help so if you want to watch them, then you have to ask me.”
“I’ll do that.”
“Well, enough of that talk. We have to get back.”
“Okay,” Mom and Dad walked Kaden and me to the door.
“Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad! Bye, Riley!”
I gave them hugs, and Riley got a kiss. Then Kaden shook my dad’s hand and gave my mom a hug. Then he kissed Riley on the check.
We got into the truck and drove to the mansion.
“You cut that visit fast,” Kaden said.
“Well, I don’t like the talk of having children and their care yet.”
“Well, your mom didn’t mean anything by it. I think you should talk with her about it tomorrow and tell her how you feel.”
“I will.”
“When are you going over there to help her with the photo albums?”
“I didn’t ask her but, I will call her tomorrow morning to check.”
“Okay,” When we arrived at the mansion, we took the pugs outside to do their business.
Then we carried them to their room. Kaden and I showered, dressed for bed, and then we hopped into bed.
The next day I telephoned my mom, and she said for me to come over around five to sort through the pictures and arrange them in albums.
When five came, Kaden dropped me off at my mom’s house, and we got to work right away sorting the pictures and putting them in albums.
“Mom, I want to say that I’m sorry for being rude about the children issue yesterday,” I explained.
“It’s quite alright, Sara,” Mom replied.
“I seem to have a major problem when children are mentioned.”
“Well, that just means you’re not ready yet. You’ll be fine!”
“I hope so because Kaden wants kids, and I’m not sure.”
“Its okay, Sara. Not every girl is ready for those types of subjects, but you will be in time.”
I smiled at my mom, “I’m glad you’re here to help me.”
“I’m glad to be, Sweetheart.”
After we finished organizing the pictures, I played with Riley while my mom did some housework. Then I called Kaden to pick me up. When we arrived at the mansion, it was eight-thirty. We went to our bedroom and lay on the bed together.
“How was your time with your mom?” Kaden questioned.
“It was nice. I watched Riley for a little bit while my mom cleaned up the house.”
“That was sweet of you”
“I try and help my mom as much as I can.”
“You’ll be helping her out a great deal this summer.”
“Yes, and I’ll be glad too.”
“I love you, gorgeous.” We kissed and as we got more into the kiss I yearned for him.
“How much longer do I have until I’m eighteen?”
“Way too long.” I grinned as we continued to kiss.

The Perfect House
It’s the end of March already. So much has happened this month! I can’t believe Riley is one year old! She is growing like a weed. Sooner than I know it she’ll be graduating from high school, and I’ll be old. I chuckled out loud.
There is no doubt in my mind that I want to marry Kaden and I will, but I don’t know when. I’m still debating on whether or not to marry him when I finish high school or when I finish college.
I have many things on my mind, especially my friend Anna. She is mad at me right now for not calling her, and she thinks I ditched her. She sent me a message on Facebook.
Here is what she said:
Sara,
You haven’t called me. I’m starting to wonder if this mansion and money are going to your head.
You don’t call me anymore, and you don’t even send me a text message.
I’ve lost both Susie and Lucy. I don’t want to lose you too, but right now I’m angry at you so I don’t want to talk to you.
I’ll come to you when I want to talk because I know right now you’re ready to apologize, and I’m not ready to accept your apology yet.
Love you as my sister,
Anna
At least she’s being honest and not being rude about it. I’m going to respect her and not return any messages until she decides she wants to talk to me.
I should send Susie a message to see how she’s doing. I clicked on Susie’s profile page and typed the following message:
Dear Susie,
How have you been? I’ve missed you like crazy! I hope to see you soon. I’m sorry I haven’t sent you a message prior to this, but I’ve been busy and sometimes I get distracted.
How do you like Utah? And how are you and Josh doing?
I hope to hear from you so
on. Miss you!
Love,
Sara
I sent the message, and then I shut down my laptop. As I placed it on my desk, Kaden stepped into the room.
“What have you been doing?” I questioned Kaden.
“Looking at houses.” Kaden responded with a smile.
“Did you find any more suitable houses?”
“No, I think the one I first selected will be good for us.”
“I think so too,” I moved over to him, and we kissed.
“What do you want to do today?”
“I’m not sure? Anna is mad at me. She is basically saying that I don’t call her anymore or even text her, so she doesn’t want to talk to me for a while until she is ready to talk.”
“Well, if that’s what she wants, then let it be.”
“I am, but she’ll eventually talk to me I guess?”
“She will. You’re her only and closest friend.”
“She did say something that was mean.”
“What?”
“That I am letting this mansion and money go to my head.”
“Don’t let what she said get to you. She’s talking out of anger.”
I kissed Kaden. “You always have the appropriate answers to my questions.”
“I try my best to help you.”
“Thank you for that.”
We embraced. “Why don’t we take the pugs outside to play while you and I sit and talk?”
“Good idea!” We carried the pugs outside. They rushed off in the yard as soon as we let them down on the grass.
“Look how excited they are!” Kaden exclaimed jubilantly.
“They’re so silly.” I chuckled, as we went over and sat on the bench near the large flower bed.
Kaden took my hand and intertwined his fingers in mine.
“When are we going to see the house?” I questioned.
“Whenever you want to see the house,” Kaden answered excitedly.
“Can we go today?”
“Well, I have to set up an appointment first.”
“What are you waiting for?”
Kaden released my hand and took out his cell phone to telephone the realtor.
He stepped away from me. A few minutes later, he came back and sat down next to me.
